“Yes, many clubs have asked to sign Antony in January,” Junior Pedroso, the star’s agent, said. “These clubs wanted to know what was going on with Antony, so I can confirm that there is real interest.”

He also said that Manchester United hadn’t told him or Antony that the player was no longer needed.
