Full Reasons Manchester City gave up on signing revealed – Leave transfer for another club

Valentin Barco is rumored to be on Brighton & Hove Albion’s radar, and the Argentine media is rife with reports of the team’s pursuit of the Boca Juniors star.

The player had initially been strongly linked to Manchester City, but Pep Guardiola’s team was never able to finalize the deal.

The treble winners never made an official bid for Barco, according to a story published in the Argentine publication Bolavip today, which cites two reasons.

First, there is Barco’s behavior; he had issues with two Boca Juniors coaches, which ultimately made Manchester City and the City Group decide against signing him.
The second problem is that Bolavip claims the midfield player is unfit to play for any City Group clubs. They don’t think he fits in with any of their teams and are aware that he would need to obtain experience elsewhere before joining Pep Guardiola’s squad.

I can’t seem to find his profile for any team in the group right now. Additionally, I don’t think we can sign him as a player,” the sources close to Bolavip stated.

“With so many teams nowadays, it’s difficult to invest in players to loan and then sell,” the statement reads.

Brighton is now anticipated to finalize a deal in the coming days after discovering an open path to complete the signing.
