Before moving on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt, Donny van de Beek, a midfielder for Manchester United, is reportedly going through medical testing today.

The famous “here we go” slogan of the Dutch midfielder has arrived in Frankfurt, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who also stated on X that the deal is “confirmed,” suggesting that it is almost finalized.

The Peoples Person has confirmed that Van van Beek’s loan agreement, which is valid until the end of the season, includes a €11 million buyout option in addition to €4 million in add-ons.

However, the buyout clause is not required, so the 26-year-old may return to Old Trafford this summer.

After joining Old Trafford in 2020, Van van Beek has had difficulty getting into the starting lineup, making just 62 appearances in four seasons.

The former Ajax star has only played two minutes in the Premier League this season, and things haven’t changed.

The player who was previously on the shortlist for the Ballon d’Or is obviously not favored by Erik ten Hag, who helped Van de Beek achieve his breakthrough at Ajax.

Ten Hag has favored players like rising star Kobbie Mainoo, who has made a big impact since joining the team after his own injury spell, even though fellow central midfielders Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Mason Mount have been sidelined due to injury.

Not only does this loan agreement give Van de Beek an opportunity to revitalize his career, but it also helps Man United financially.

United will only pay 40% of Van van Beek’s salary while he is on loan to Frankfurt, instead of letting him rot on the bench and paying his full salary.

If the midfield player’s reported weekly salary of £125,000 turns out to be accurate, United will save approximately £75,000 every week.

This will significantly reduce United’s wage expenditure, especially if Ten Hag plans to bolster his team during the January transfer window.
