Fabrizio Romano announces second Chelsea ‘here we go’ of the week
The most recent Chelsea deal, the team’s second “here we go” or completed deal of the week, has been confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
After 12 days of the window, Chelsea has completed a few small transactions, mostly involving loan agreements, recalls, and outgoings.
They completed both yesterday. David Datro Fofana was called back from his loan assignment at Union Berlin, and Romano has now disclosed where he is going next.
He has officially confirmed his transfer of Fofana to Burnley, a Premier League team. With his PL experience and all, this seems like a wise move.
But will he really play there in the real world? Will Nottingham Forest receive another disastrous loan similar to that of Andrey Santos? Although I’m not entirely sure, I don’t think he will have enough playing time to grow there.
However, should he receive minutes, this could be a very advantageous loan.
🚨🟣 David Datro Fofana to Burnley, here we go! Agreement in place for the striker to join on loan deal.
Understand there’s NO buy option, Chelsea believe PL experience will be key.
Medical on Saturday.
Salary 100% covered by Burnley.

With Ian Maatsen’s confirmed arrival to Dortmund earlier this week, this is Chelsea’s second “here we go” of the week.
