Everton To Replace £80m Man Utd Target With Superb Championship Star after Man United ready bid to sign him

Everton have shown interest in Hull City center-back Jacob Greaves in anticipation of potential offers for Jarrad Branthwaite.

Branthwaite’s impressive displays this season have earned him recognition as one of the top young defenders in Europe, attracting interest from numerous big clubs.

Manchester United and Liverpool are contemplating making summer offers for the outstanding 21-year-old, as revealed earlier by Teamtalk.

Reports indicate that Everton might have to sell one of its key players this summer due to ongoing financial difficulties.

Sean Dyche’s team is not willing to let Branthwaite go for a low price and has set an £80 million price tag for him.

If the Toffees lose Branthwaite, a regular starter, they will need to acquire a new center-back.

Everton has several prospective targets on its shortlist, and a recent report has identified Hull striker Greaves as a potential alternative.

Is Branthwaite being replaced by Greaves at Everton?

As per The Mirror, Greaves is receiving significant attention from Everton. The defender’s performances this season have left a strong impression, leading them to view him as a significant target.

The 23-year-old player has participated in 34 Championship matches this season, contributing to nine clean sheets and scoring two goals for the Tigers.

Greaves has been instrumental in Hull’s recent impressive performance, contributing to the team’s current sixth position in the championship standings and their potential for promotion.

Hull vice chairman Tan Kesler recently discussed probable interest in Greaves with BBC Humberside Sport.

Jacob is our athlete. We are indifferent to whether there is an offer available or not.

He is performing exceptionally well. He should receive offers and attract interest. I want the boys to remain focused on the promotion run until the end of the season.

It is likely that prestigious clubs will show interest in Greaves at the end of the season, with Everton apparently leading the way.

If Hull does not achieve promotion this season, they may have to consider a substantial offer for the defender, who is contracted until 2026.
