Erik ten Hag sends emotional message to Jadon Sancho after completing Man United exit

After Jadon Sancho’s departure from Manchester United, Erik ten Hag sends him an emotional message. Sancho’s story at Manchester United has finally come to an end, at least for the time being, with his return to Borussia Dortmund, and ten Hag has now spoken out following their public fallout.

Despite their public altercation at Manchester United, Erik ten Hag has sent Jadon Sancho best wishes for success at Borussia Dortmund.

On Thursday afternoon, the winger for the Red Devils finished his loan return to Borussia Dortmund. He signed a contract with no buyout clause that runs through the end of the current campaign.

Around €4 million (£3.4 million) will be paid by the German side, which also includes a loan fee and a portion of Sancho’s exorbitant salary. He might make his second appearance for the team on Saturday when Darmstadt and the Bundesliga meet.

Now that he has spoken out about the deal, Ten Hag has wished the winger luck returning to Germany.

In a press conference held prior to the match this coming weekend versus Tottenham, the Dutchman stated:

“I hope everything is going well for him, and I’m wishing him luck. That is all. I’m hoping all is well with him and that he succeeds.

Man Utd supporters were incensed by Jadon Sancho’s behavior prior to Dortmund’s first practice.

When asked about Sancho’s return to Dortmund, Ten Hag chose not to respond this time. “I responded [to the earlier query],” he declared. “I believe it is sufficient.”

With Ten Hag as manager, Sancho’s future at Man United doesn’t seem very bright. Sancho refuted the Dutchman’s criticism of him on social media, saying that the winger had performed poorly in training.

Ten Hag asked for an apology from Sancho, but he refused. Sancho was banished from the first team as a result, and he hasn’t featured for the team in almost five months.

For the second time, Jadon Sancho is revealed as a member of Borussia Dortmund.

Speaking after completing his return to Dortmund, Sancho said: “When I came into the dressing room today, it felt like ‘coming home’. I’ve always had a close relationship with the supporters here, I know the club inside and out, and I’ve never lost touch with the administration.

“I can’t wait to play football with a smile on my face, see my teammates again, prepare goals, score goals, and help qualify for the Champions League.”
