DEAL COMPLETED: Man United’s board bows to Amorim’s pressure finally complete £102m signing as the player is set to pen 7-years contract- Rashford left in the process
It has been reported by TEAMtalk that Ruben Amorim has requested that Manchester United finalize a deal in order to bring Randal Kolo Muani, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain, to Old Trafford in the month of January.
After being left out of the last four match-day squads and admitting that he is ready for a “new challenge,” the Reds are desperate to add more firepower to the squad. Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund have only managed to score five goals in the Premier League between them so far this season. Marcus Rashford, on the other hand, appears to be headed for the exit door in 2025.
INEOS is eager to support the Portuguese manager in his efforts to rebuild the squad after he took over in November; nevertheless, the club’s funds are tight at the moment, which means that the club may be compelled to investigate the possibility of using the loan market.
The French international is interested in a move to the Premier League, and Amorim wants to sign him in January.
Luis Enrique, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, has made the decision that the 26-year-old player is no longer a part of his plans for the French capital, and it now appears that a transfer to another club in January is on the horizon.
According to the report, Amorim has personally requested that Manchester United investigate the possibility of a deal to bring the France international into the club in 2025. The club believes that he is a target that can be realistically achieved for a sum that is acceptable, either on loan or permanently.
Nevertheless, they will not be pursuing the forward on their own in their quest of it. Chelsea has also been mentioned as a potential interested party, while Sky Sports has previously claimed that Tottenham has expressed interest in the player. Additionally, GMS sources have disclosed that Manchester City has explored the possibility of acquiring him.
Kolo Muani, who has been referred to as “very complete” by Kylian Mbappe, joined Paris Saint-Germain in a staggering £86 million move two summers ago as the club sought to provide a replacement for Lionel Messi and Neymar. However, the situation has not really worked out so well for him. In the 54 games that he has played for the club so far, he has only managed to score 11 goals, and he has only been given two starts across all competitions this season.
Kolo Muani is considering the Premier League to be the perfect destination for the next stage in his career, and Paris Saint-Germain is willing to let him leave the club in January if they receive an offer that is satisfactory to him.
