Chelsea have been criticized for wanting to sell a £60 million player.
Chelsea has come under fire for attempting to offload a player for £60 million.
Since many reports state that Chelsea has already removed the majority of the jersey numbers from its players, it appears that Enzo Maresca can arrange for the departure of any player who wants to do so before the deadline. As a result, Chelsea has been attempting to get one of its best forwards to leave the team.
Raheem Sterling, who was left off of the team to play against his old team, had earlier deleted Chelsea from his Instagram bio. It appears that this one act may have taken precedence over other posts in his edit.
Rio Ferdinard was also said to have participated in the criticism of Enzo Maresca for making some decisions that were harsh on some of the forward possibilities.
Ferdinand stated in an email to The Daily Mail that he learnt of Chelsea’s desire for certain players being sold and that they were not allowed to train with the U21s this summer.
However, Kieran Gill, a writer for Chelsea, who authored this piece, states:
It’s thought that all of Chelsea’s excluded players were given the opportunity to have in-person talks, despite Rio Ferdinand’s assertion that they were informed of their destiny by email. Enzo Maresca is adamant that Sterling and he have a conversation with any kind of respect.
To be honest, I don’t think Chelsea supporters will feel too sorry for Sterling. In my opinion, the most of them believe he has outstayed his welcome and want to sell him.
Trevor Chaobah may utilise the exit door in the next few days as major suitors are expected to finalise a deal; Chelsea is willing to trade Sterling as they are about to add another name to their desire list.
Erik Ten Hag may probably lose out on the race since Trevor is unlikely to transfer to Old Trafford, but Aston Villa is apparently working hard to get Trevor into Emery’s squad this summer. Manchester United was also reportedly keeping tabs on the players.
Trevor Chaobah and Sterling could both leave Chelsea, and it’s unclear if the manager will complete a deal or look into other options before the window closes.
