Manchester United
Casimero to Saudi Arabia
This season, Manchester United has not had an easy time. Being down the Premier League table and out of both the Champions League and Europe altogether is proof positive.
While some players have already made up their minds to move on, others who have been pillars of the team have chosen to explore their options during the transfer window. One of the most notable examples is that of Casemiro, who is thinking about moving away after receiving a significant offer from Saudi soccer.
Like all of the Saudi Pro League’s proposals, this one is very lucrative and may encourage United to start a comprehensive team rebuild, which might include hiring a new coach.
The potential departure of Casemiro, the star signing of the previous season, would garner media attention. Despite his diminished impact this season—primarily as a result of injuries—his presence is still significant to United supporters.
The summer of 2022 saw the midfield player move to Old Trafford for a sum that, depending on several factors, might top 70 million euros. Although the directors are currently trying to recover a portion of that investment, his price tag won’t go that high.
