Before moving to Old Trafford, Jadon Sancho, a star player for Manchester United, spent three seasons scoring over thirty goals a year with Dortmund.

But since joining the Red Devils, the winger has been a disaster, and he is about to return to the German Bundesliga team after a falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.

The transfer of Sancho between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund is reportedly close to completion, according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg.

The German reporter claims that only a few minor details need to be ironed out before the attacker arrives on a six-month loan.

At Old Trafford, Sancho makes 290,000 a week, or about £15.1 million a year, according to today’s print edition of The Mail.

Dortmund is unable to pay such high salaries, so Manchester United will loan the 23-year-old for about £100,000 a week.

The British news source claims that although Sancho will receive a salary of approximately £2.5 million from the Premier League club, the club will save as much as £5 million on his salary by the end of June.

With 82 appearances for United, the 23-cap England international has scored 12 goals and only contributed six assists.

Will he ever play for Ten Hag at Old Trafford again? He made three substitute appearances for the Dutchman this season. Waiting and seeing is the only way to find out.
