Breaking News: Jamie Carragher criticizes Marcus Rashford of Manchester United as the “worst-possible”

In a biting critique of the Manchester United forward, Jamie Carragher claims that Marcus Rashford’s production has fallen to the same level as Anthony Martial’s.
Rashford gave a dismal performance in Saturday night’s 1-0 loss at Newcastle after missing the midweek Champions League draw with Galatasaray. The Manchester Evening News gave him a score of only 2/10, and at about the hour, he was taken off.
Even though Rashford is out of form, Liverpool legend Carragher believes that as a local player, he should be giving it his all for the team. However, he is unimpressed with Rashford’s body language, drawing comparisons to long-term Old Trafford failure Martial, who also performed poorly against the Magpies.
On Sky’s Super Sunday, Carragher declared, “It was an unacceptable performance [from Rashford], for a few reasons.” Midweek, he did not play. Playing away in Europe on Wednesday and then again on Saturday is not easy, but he chose not to travel.
It’s difficult for me to be a local player. You have to pull people up with you when things aren’t going well in order to fix them.
