Breaking: Anthony Taylor will be banned for the Chelsea vs. City match due to Kovacic’s handball and Haaland’s offside.

After Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City on opening day, supporters were left feeling let down by a well-known source.

Several times the Blues were disappointed not to have been given a penalty at Stamford Bridge, where Anthony Taylor was in charge of another Chelsea match that took place early in the season.

Following the 2-2 tie with Tottenham in 2022, it was acknowledged that Taylor had erred in not sending Marc Cucurella, who had a difficult day, off with a red card.

The most prominent instance saw a Malo Gusto cross that resulted in a Mateo Kovacic potential handball being waved away. The former Blue then scored to put the finishing touch on Enzo Maresca.

Thiago Silva has already responded to Taylor’s subpar officiating on social media, and it appears that he was once more incensed by his work in the centre.

When Chelsea vs. Man City was being officiated, Thiago Silva was not pleased.

He posted the referee’s initial name on Instagram along with a variety of emoticons that seemed to indicate he missed a lot of important moments.

With their qualifier against Servette on Thursday, Maresca’s team has little time to prepare before they take the pitch in an attempt to earn a spot in the Europa Conference League.

There are still other Premier League games that can be won, and the manager has seen several standout performances that should inspire him moving forward.

Supporters of Chelsea want Pedro Neto to start.

Pedro Neto’s entrance in the second half made Chelsea seem much better on the left wing, and fans of the Blues appeared to agree that he should start the team’s next match.

Romeo Lavia also put on an excellent show; many were even more impressed because it was his first competitive start since joining the Blues more than a year ago.

On Sunday, the Blues will play their first away game of the season against Wolves in the Premier League.
