“Any talk of a possible return to Manchester United in January will be extremely sensitive, and nobody will commit to it.” Prior to Ratcliffe, several sources stated clearly last year that Greenwood would never again play for the team. It will take much more than the football department making that choice to reverse that position.

It is true that Getafe would be very willing to submit a long-term bid for Greenwood, but once more, nothing is formalized just yet. Links to Barcelona or Real Madrid are common.
