Bad News: Liverpool Player gets punished for belittling Manchester United

The captain of Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk, has come under fire from former Manchester United captain Roy Keane for saying that his team, the Anfield club, was the only one hoping to win Sunday afternoon’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United.

“Virgil van Dijk had arrogance coming out of him, dishing Manchester United like that,” Keane said on Sky Sports.

"Virgil van Dijk had arrogance coming out of him, dishing Manchester United like that," Keane said on Sky Sports.

“He needs to remind himself of this.” The team he plays for has only been the champions for roughly thirty years.
