(4–2–3) Stranger Jesus is at the front of the line. Arsenal’s likely starting lineup vs. Newcastle United – As Mikel Arteta called up another Academy player because Nwaneri was hurt,

Arsenal did not have a good night as they tied Brighton 1-1 in the Premier League. With this latest loss of points, Liverpool can easily move ahead to win the league title and open a bigger gap over the next team in second place.

The next game for Arsenal is in the EFL Cup semi-finals, against Newcastle United. The team led by Mikel Arteta can’t make the mistake of not taking the opponents seriously enough since they just beat Tottenham Hotspur.

4-3-3: How Arsenal is likely to line up against Newcastle United

There is no question that David Raya will be back between the sticks. Jurrien Timber is back from his suspension and should play right back again.

Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba will stay at center back, and Myles Lewis-Skelly could be brought in instead of Riccardo Calafiori to play left back.

Midfield

Thomas Partey will be able to be the team’s driver in the middle when Timber comes back. Declan Rice will likely stay in the middle of the park, and Martin Odegaard will likely go back to the XI to join him.

Attack

Ethan Nwaneri will not be able to help the Gunners, which is a shame. The 17-year-old made history when he scored against Brighton, but he had to be taken off. The young player had a muscle injury, which was later confirmed by boss Mikel Arteta.

Gabriel Martinelli is the clear favorite to play his part on the right side. The other two names on the offensive line are Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard.

Bukayo Saka (hamstring), Raheem Sterling (knee), Ben White (knee), and Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) are still out with injuries. Kai Havertz missed the last two games because he was sick and can’t play in this either.
